The Gigabyte Aorus Master has an AMD Socket AM4, which can support 2nd and 3rd AMD Ryzen processors, up to Ryzen 9. On the other hand, the MSI MEG Godlike supports Celeron Core i5, Intel Core i3 up to i9, and Pentium Gold.

However, the Gigabyte Aorus X570 supports PCIe 4.0, making it one of the few motherboards on the market with such support. Additionally, it comes at a very low price point when compared to the MSI MEG Z490 Godlike.

There’s no absolute winner here because each motherboard supports various CPUs; it just depends on which CPU you want to go for. However, if I have to pick one, I’d have to say the MSI MEG Godlike’s i9 support is too good to ignore.

The Gigabyte Aorus X570 Master supports dual BIOS, so it has a main and a backup BIOS. It’s especially important in case your motherboard runs into any errors; it can refer back to the backup BIOS to boot your computer.

With 4 DIMM slots, this motherboard can support up to 128 GB of RAM, which is the standard number across mid to high-end motherboards. It features two memory channels, which will provide you with a high-speed performance thanks to the increased data transfer rate.

Storage-wise, this motherboard features three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, which is a disappointment compared to the Gigabyte Aorus X570 Master that supports PCIe 4.0. It also features six SATA ports with a speed of up to 6 Gbits/second.

To prevent overheating, the MSI MEG Z490 Godlike features eight fan heaters with Frozr Heatsink’s active cooling system with Zero Frozr technology.

This motherboard has two Thunderbolt 3 ports that can support a 4K display and an incredibly high transfer rate of up to 40 GB/second, making this unit perfect for gamers.

Sadly, though, it doesn’t have dual BIOS, which would’ve been a nice addition to such a powerful motherboard.
